Back again with part 3! I am currently in week 12 of the Microsoft Leap Apprenticeship Program with 4 weeks to go.

You can check out the previous part of this post: Helpful learnings from a design sprint challenge: Truths and Insights version part 2 where I interviewed my cohort mates to learn their process during the sprint week regarding what they did, how they came up with their designs, tradeoffs etc., basically their design process. The sprint week focused on Truths and Insights was created by Pradeep U.N, Director of Customer Experience at Microsoft Consulting Services which was created to drive purpose driven transformations in organizations.

In this post, we will be discussing how we all came up with our sketches and ideas for the sprint challenge, so here we go!

How did you come up with ideas?

By using “How Might We” statements

Guest 2: I tried to draw a few sketches for every How Might We question we came up with — some of them were ridiculous and totally unfeasible, but they got me thinking about ideal states we might actually be able to accomplish.

We looked at indirect and direct Competitors
